Ever since Drift opened we've made it our breakfast and coffee stop on our way out of Ocean Isle back home. Their Avocado Smash is my favorite especially when topped with a Poached egg. Their muffins are always fresh and delicious and this morning I had the pleasure of trying their Banana Bread with Ricotta Nuts and Honey. It was almost like a dessert it was so good! Their Chai Tea is my favorite from any place I've ever had. Today I tried their Iced Black Amber- espresso with milk and agave nectar shaken and served iced. Might be a new favorite. Classically I'm a black coffee kind of girl and theirs doesn't disappoint. Great flavor. This will continue to be a stop for us every year on our annual trip to Ocean Isle Beach.
It was my first time going in there, slammed pack!! The atmosphere was lovely, the coffee was great, and Taylor truly made our experience amazing she was interacting with every customer and asking each person how their day was. Even with it busy out of the door she truly took the time to connect with the customers. Also she was very knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we would most likely like for it being our first time. Thank you so much Drift and Taylor for amazing coffee and hospitality!!

Drift is the perfect coffee shop at the beach. We got the caramel latte which was sooo good and the breakfast burrito and bodega sandwich which was also 10/10. Must go when in Ocean Isle!
Drift coffee shop is an absolute must go to in Ocean Isle Beach. They have a great selection of coffee and lunch/breakfast things to get. I would recommend the avocado toast and just a normal coffee. They also sell hats, T-shirts and coffee by the pound. There is great outdoor seating. Also, they have a seating indoors.
You couldn’t have dreamed of a better local cafe on the beach. Taste, atmosphere, selections. It’s clean, professional, healthy. What more could you want? Visiting from Asheville, NC for the weekend. I’ll be back!
My wife and I really enjoyed the food, the decor, and the personnel/staff/service. The double chocolate banana smoothie and smoked salmon sandwich and avocado smash (marbled egg) sandwich were really good. Went there 2 days, consecutively. I recommend this place for brunch. 2018-07-29 the avocado smash with fried egg, super salad and vanilla milkshake were all good; I thought it was a bit strange that they told me that they ran out of poached egg but they had fried egg. This place and their avocado smash (with fried or poached) egg is the best thing I like about Ocean Isle Beach!
